Lilac Cottage a Little Gem on Cottage Street

Perfect house for 4 people. Beds are super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Extra downstairs cot was perfect for my older friend, with the bathroom so close, no stairs. The house has oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, coffee, but no sugar. Minor cons- Parking area was not explained, we asked the local neighbor. There are no instructions for the propane room heater. We could not turn it on, so we used the oven in the kitchen to take off the morning chill. We brought our own cooler of food, but expected a jar of sugar for our morning coffee, coffee was in the freezer. Also, the house could use a clearer guide for for disposing of garbage. I know the island and know how to get to the dump, but for other guests, the garbage disposal plan that you have is unclear. We went to the dump with a 13 gallon bag of trash. Does this house require this of visitors that don"t know the island or don't have a car? We had an excellent weekend and would rent this house again. Thank you.

Lily cottage is quaint and well equipped and very comfortable. A short walk from the ferry, it is convenient to everything.We were disappointed that the beach wasn’t really a beach that we could swim at, but obviously that’s not the house’s fault ;) and we enjoyed most everything else. I highly recommend!

House exactly as expected with cute touches everywhere! Close to town and easy access to many activities.

Great 5 day stay, very close to Main Street. Very cute cottage, comfortable beds and absolutely spotless!! Dis miss a microwave but not a big deal. Will definitely recommend and be back!

Had a wonderful time. Quiet area and lovely area to walk and enjoy sites. Small home but welcoming. Met our needs.
